“Josh was very easy to work with – extremely responsive, communicative, and professional. He did great work painting the living room and bedroom of my condo and repairing drywall and cabinetry. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What do you charge for interior painting?

A: Interior painting quotes are based on square feet of floor space: $2.75 for walls, $1 for ceilings, and $1 for trim. For example, a 300 sq. ft. room would cost 300 x ($2.75 + $1 + $1) = $1425 for walls, ceiling and trim. My rates include materials and follow the national average as listed on Angi.com. But I use high-end Sherwin Williams paint (Duration & Emerald) and do high-quality work.

Q: What do you charge for exterior painting and other jobs?

A: For all other jobs, I charge a base rate of $65/hr plus materials with a one hour minimum.

Q: Do you come out for small jobs?

A: If I can fit it in I will. Bear in mind there’s a one hour minimum to compensate for prep and travel time.

Q: How far do you travel?

A: I’m based at Yellow Bicycle Theater by City Hall, and I’ve worked in Center City, South Philly, Fairmount, Fishtown, and a few other areas. I don’t generally travel to the suburbs, but if it’s a big job we may be able to work something out.
